Miller’s Nightmare gives AAD the “built to scare” side of the directory. It is deliberately theatrical, openly seasonal, and designed for people who want a haunted-attraction experience rather than a paranormal investigation.

How you can visit
The 2026 season opens September 26 and continues October 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31. Gates open at 6:30 PM.
On the ground
What you'll find
A long outdoor haunt, dark midway, games, mini escape experiences, food, bonfires, and themed 2026 attractions including LORE, which draws on Appalachian folklore and cryptids.
